What to wear & bring.

For Pilates and other movement classes, wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. For Feldenkrais®, comfortable, roomy clothing works well.

Grip socks are not required for Reformer & Tower Pilates, but they are recommended.

You do not need to bring a towel. Towels and a drinking fountain are available at the studio.

At the studio.

A changing room is available. EVIA does not have a shower.

Beginners are welcome in group classes. Please tell your instructor before class about any injuries, contraindications, or other considerations that may affect your movement.

Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® is suitable for all experience levels.

Timing & policies.

To preserve the class experience, clients cannot join a group class after it has started.

Cancellations or rescheduling should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Sessions are offered in English and Russian.

First-visit questions.

Is EVIA beginner-friendly?

Yes. Beginners can join group classes. Please let the instructor know before class about anything relevant to your movement or participation. Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® is suitable for all experience levels.

Do I need grip socks?

They are not required, but grip socks are recommended for Reformer & Tower Pilates.

What should I expect from my first Functional Integration® lesson?

A Functional Integration® lesson begins with conversation. That conversation is already part of the lesson: it gives the practitioner an opportunity to observe how you organize yourself and begin understanding your movement patterns before the hands-on exploration continues.

Can I join a class if I arrive late?

No. Once a group class has started, clients cannot join the session.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your session or class.

What languages are spoken at EVIA?
